We are members of the Moodohe World Federation since 1990, with headquarters in Mexico City, and have more than 150 schools throughout the territories of Mexico, the USA, and Guatemala.

We are an Academy whose mission is to develop the discipline and martial arts of this beautiful sport that is Taekwondo, developing a high competitive level both in combat (SPARRING) and in forms (POOMSAE) using the programs and technical training of High Competition. And in terms of the programs for the early stages from 4 years old, pedagogy and development of their motor coordination, focus and balance in a fun and professional way.

Our mission is to support and raise the level of Taekwondo in the city of Austin in collaboration with excellent teachers and friends.
Our objectives are to promote good health and to introduce the benefits of discipline to all youth in the city of Austin and the surrounding area using the highest level of Olympic style Taekwondo training techniques.

Our Vision

To integrate the best space and teaching methodology within a competitive environment that is consistent with the age and grade of the athlete. To constantly update training techniques that will  ensure that the practitioner of martial arts is a better athlete, student, and citizen of his extended community.

Meet Master Pedro

Master Pedro Mercado is a 5th Dan in WTF style Taekwondo who established his first Taekwondo School – Moo Do He International in Austin, TX in 2007.  He has over 35 years experience in the practice of Taekwondo and had many successful schools under his tutelage in Mexico City, Mexico before immigrating to the United States. Master Mercado’s philosophy towards Taekwondo instruction is simple; to work with efficiency and professionalism, within the framework of communication and teamwork, guaranteeing the continuous improvement, security and attention that parents, students and teachers deserve.
