Our History
Moo Do He International is a global organization dedicated to the preservation and dissemination of high-level Taekwondo. With over 40 years of history, we have grown into a family of more than 150 schools around the world. Our roots stem from the wisdom of our founder, Grand Master Sun Jung Kim (8th Dan Kukkiwon), originally from South Korea, who established our headquarters in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
Leadership in the USA
Under the leadership of Master Pedro Mercado Sánchez, 6th Dan Black Belt, originally from Mexico City, the organization expanded to the United States 19 years ago. With a track record of success and commitment, Master Mercado continues the legacy in this country, transforming lives through elite athletic development.
Our Mission
To disseminate Taekwondo as a comprehensive discipline that promotes high-level athletic development. We seek to generate a positive and profound change in the lives of every practitioner who joins our academies, fostering values, health, and martial excellence under Kukkiwon standards.
